Shillong: The capital of Meghalaya and fondly called the "Scotland of the East," is famous for its cool climate, pine forests, and cascading waterfalls like Elephant Falls. It is also celebrated as India's "Rock Capital" and for the scenic Umiam Lake

❌ Flights/Trains: Airfare or train tickets to and from Guwahati.

❌ Other Meals: Lunch, dinner, and any mid-day snacks/beverages unless specified.

❌ Personal Expenses: Laundry, phone calls, tips to drivers/guides, or insurance.

❌ Unforeseen Costs: Any expenses arising out of natural calamities, landslides, road blockages, or flight delays.

4 Nights / 5 Days

Day 1: Arrival in Guwahati & Transfer to Shillong (100 km / approx. 3.5 hrs)

• Morning/Afternoon: Arrive at Guwahati Airport (LGBI) or Railway Station. Meet our representative and start a scenic drive toward Shillong.
• En-route Stop: Pull over at the breathtaking Umiam Lake (Barapani), a massive, picturesque reservoir surrounded by sylvan hills and Khasi pines.
• Evening: Check into your hotel in Shillong. Spend your evening exploring Police Bazaar, the city’s bustling local market hub perfect for shopping and trying local Khasi delicacies.
• Overnight: Hotel in Shillong.

Day 2: Shillong Local Sightseeing

• Morning: After a hearty breakfast, set out to explore Shillong's local charms.
• Sightseeing Highlights:
• Elephant Falls: A unique three-tier cascading waterfall.
• Shillong Peak / Laitlum Canyons: (Depending on local permissions) Soak in panoramic views of the misty valleys.
• Ward’s Lake & Lady Hydari Park: Stroll around these manicured, colonial-style gardens.
• Don Bosco Museum: Deep dive into the rich tribal history and culture of Northeast India.
• Overnight: Hotel in Shillong.

Day 3: Shillong - Day Trip to Dawki & Mawlynnong - Cherrapunji

• Morning: Early check-out from Shillong. Drive to Mawlynnong, famously crowned as Asia’s Cleanest Village. Walk through the spotless pathways and head to the neighboring Riwai village to see the iconic Living Root Bridge—a bio-engineering marvel grown by the Khasi tribe.
• Afternoon: Proceed to Dawki. Take a boat ride on the crystal-clear waters of the Umngot River, where boats look like they are floating in mid-air. Check out the nearby India-Bangladesh border checkpoint.
• Evening: Drive through the misty hills to Cherrapunji (Sohra). Check into your cliffside resort/hotel.
• Overnight: Resort/Hotel in Cherrapunji.

Day 4: Exploring the Wonders of Cherrapunji

• Morning: Wake up to the serene clouds and mist of Cherrapunji.
• Sightseeing Highlights:
• Nohkalikai Falls: India's tallest plunge waterfall.
• Seven Sisters Waterfalls: A majestic view of seven streams cascading side by side down limestone cliffs.
• Mawsmai Cave / Arwah Cave: Explore the thrilling, naturally formed limestone caves filled with stalactites and fossils.
• Eco Park: Enjoy sweeping views of the deep gorges and Bangladesh plains.

Day 5: Cherrapunji - Guwahati Sightseeing & Departure
