- Morning (05:00 AM): Depart early from Delhi to beat the city traffic and maximize your day. Enjoy the scenic drive via the Himalayan Expressway, passing through timbered hills and winding mountain roads.
- Afternoon (02:00 PM): Arrive in Shimla, check into your hotel, and freshen up.
- Evening: Head out to explore the pedestrian-only Mall Road and The Ridge. Visit the iconic, neo-Gothic Christ Church and catch a breathtaking sunset over the valley from Scandal Point.
- Night: Enjoy a warm dinner at a local café or your hotel. Overnight stay in Shimla.
- Morning (09:00 AM): After a hearty breakfast, head to Kufri (16 km) from Shimla). On the way, stop at the mesmerizing Green Valley for photographs.
- Afternoon: Explore Kufri’s prime highlights:
- Hike or take a horse ride up to Mahasu Peak.
- Catch glimpses of rare Himalayan birds and wildlife at the Himalayan Nature Park (Kufri Zoo).
- If traveling with family, you can optionally visit the Kufri Fun World amusement park.
- Late Afternoon: Return to Shimla. Take the ropeway or trek up to the sacred Jakhoo Temple—the highest point in Shimla—to see the massive 108-foot Hanuman statue and enjoy panoramic views of the Shivalik range.
