Omkareshwar and Mahakaleshwar are famous for housing two of the twelve highly revered Jyotirlingas (sacred abodes of Lord Shiva) in India. Located in the state of Madhya Pradesh, these two holy temples form a deeply significant pilgrimage circuit for millions of Hindu devotees. While both temples are dedicated to Lord Shiva, each is famous for its own distinct spiritual identity, geographical features, and sacred rituals.

2 Nights & 3 Days
- Morning (Arrival): Arrive at Indore Airport/Railway Station or Ujjain Railway Station. Meet your private driver and transfer to your hotel in Ujjain (approx. 1.5 hours from Indore). Check-in and freshen up.
- Afternoon (Local Temple Sightseeing): Start your spiritual exploration of Avantika (Ujjain):
- Kaal Bhairav Temple: Culturally unique temple where the deity is offered liquor as part of the rituals.
- Bade Ganeshji Ka Mandir & Harsiddhi Mata Temple: Harsiddhi is one of the 51 sacred Shaktipeeths.
- Sandipani Ashram: The historic place where Lord Krishna, Balarama, and Sudama received their education.
- Evening (The Grand Corridor): Proceed to the Mahakaleshwar Temple for evening Darshan and Aarti. Post-darshan, take a leisurely stroll through the majestic Shri Mahakal Lok Corridor, beautifully illuminated with hundreds of murals and statues depicting Shiva Puran stories.
- Night: Overnight stay at your hotel in Ujjain.
- Early Morning (03:00 AM - 06:00 AM): Wake up early to attend the world-famous, spiritually powerful Bhasma Aarti at Mahakaleshwar Temple. (Note: Prior online booking is mandatory for this). * Morning: Return to the hotel for breakfast and check out. Proceed with a scenic 4-hour drive (140 km) toward Omkareshwar.
- Afternoon (Omkareshwar Darshan): Arrive at the holy island of Mandhata, naturally shaped like the sacred 'Om' symbol in the Narmada River.
- Cross the footbridge or take a serene boat ride across the Narmada River to reach the Omkareshwar Jyotirlinga Temple.
- Visit the Mamleshwar Temple on the opposite bank. According to scriptures, the pilgrimage to Omkareshwar is incomplete without paying respects at Mamleshwar.
- Evening: Relax at the peaceful Ahilya Ghat or witness the evening Narmada Aarti.
- Night: Overnight stay at your hotel in Omkareshwar (or transfer back to Indore for a city stay).
- Morning: Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and check out. Drive back to Indore (approx. 2 hours).
- Mid-Day (Indore Street Food & Heritage): Before your departure, squeeze in a brief taste of Indore:
- Visit the historic Rajwada Palace (the 18th-century Holkar dynasty royal palace) or the exquisite glass architecture of Kanch Mandir.
- Stop by the famous Khajrana Ganesh Temple.
- Grab a quick lunch to savor Indore's legendary Poha-Jalebi or Bhitte ka Kees.
- Afternoon/Evening (Departure): Drop-off at Indore Airport or Indore/Ujjain Railway Station for your onward journey home with divine blessings.
